Acer palmatum 'Seiryu' (Japanese maple), height ~39cm

Japanese maple 'Seiryu' has fresh green leaves in spring that are relatively small. Over the course of summer and towards autumn, the foliage changes to yellow, orange, and finally deep red. This bonsai is in a blue rectangular ceramic pot, which beautifully accentuates the plant's beauty.
