Rhododendron indicum (satsuki azalea), height ~40cm

Satsuki Azalea bonsai with bright red flowers covering the tree in spring, creating a striking and enchanting sight. The bonsai is placed in an elegant bronze, oval ceramic pot that further accentuates the colourful bloom.

It is important to carefully remove the flowers at the end of the flowering period and prepare the tree for the next flowering season. The Azalea is evergreen, but in winter and after flowering, the leaves may discolour slightly to yellow or brown, as the flowers have consumed energy.
